'Escape to Treasure Island' Summer Arts Camp (7 - 12yrs)

The Victoria Hall

Escape to Treasure Island is an exciting immersive Summer Arts Camp where young adventurers are invited to journey to a mystical tropical island filled with hidden treasure, creative discoveries and theatrical adventures. Across three action-packed days, we will explore a wide variety of arts activities inspired by island life, pirate legends and tropical landscapes. From creating treasure maps and textured sand art to experimenting with vibrant tropical watercolours and colourful mixed-media crafts, participants will dive into hands-on creative experiences designed to spark imagination and confidence. Through drama, storytelling and theatrical exploration, children will work together to survive being “stranded” on the island, uncover clues, solve mysteries and bring their own island adventures to life. Escape to Treasure Island encourages creativity, teamwork and self-expression in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment - giving young people the chance to explore the arts, make new friends and enjoy an unforgettable summer adventure. We are very grateful to Hacklings, who has generously funded the core costs of this year’s camp and enabled us to provide 15 fully funded spaces for children from low-income families. To help us continue offering free and supported spaces at future holiday camps, we have made 15 places available on a donation-based payment system with three contribution levels: Supported Rate, Standard Rate and Pay-It-Forward Rate. By choosing one of our donation-based rates, families are directly helping us build sustainable funding for future camps and widen access to creative opportunities within our community. Get ready to set sail for an unforgettable island adventure filled with creativity, discovery and treasure-filled fun!
