This exciting 6-week course introduces young people to acting for the camera while building confidence, creativity, and communication skills.

Participants will learn how to create believable characters, develop and perform monologues, and understand how acting works on screen—including filming techniques, cuts, and basic editing. A key part of the course is supporting young people to create their own original monologues, giving them the chance to explore their ideas, experiences, and what matters to them.

Sessions are practical, supportive, and fun, with plenty of opportunities to perform, collaborate, and be creative. By the end of the course, each participant will have taken part in filming their own piece of work.

No previous acting experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to take part!
